Mr. Kumar is an alumnus of Allahabad University, an IRS Officer of 1978 batch, who retired as Chief Commissioner of Central Excise & Service Tax from Vadodara Zone. He possesses 35 years of experience in the field of Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax. He has deep technical knowledge and high degree of confidence. He has worked as Under Secretary in Central Board of Excise and Customs wherein he was responsible for handling all India issue of classification, valuation and interpretation.
